Picture-perfect Hotspots in London

Sightseeing is a must for any tourist, and while staying at the Best Western Palm Hotel London you might find yourself itching to get some nice new photos for your Instagram feed or Facebook album. Luckily, there are plenty of aesthetic hotspots just a stone’s throw away from hotels near Wembley Stadium. We’ve made a list of places that are both popular and slightly deviating from usual tourist spots. They’ve all got one thing in common though, and that is their worthiness in being included in your next social media post.

First up is none other than Wembley Stadium. But we’re going to take a step further and recommend taking a photo next to the Bobby Moore statue right outside the stadium. Stand by this statue on a slightly cloudy day when the sun filters through the clouds and you’ll see how the sky is reflected beautifully against the all-glass walls of the stadium.

As noontime rolls around, so does a tourist’s appetite for something new and tasty. Try out the unique and wonderfully plated desserts at Sugar Mill Desserts. Don’t forget to bring your camera as their intricate mille feuille with raspberries dotted with cream along the sides looks like it’s straight out of a fantasy. Need to satisfy your sweet and savory tooth? The salmon grill is just as beautiful as their desserts, with the orange salmon contrasting perfectly against the green herbs and pesto. Be sure to snap a photo before diving in!

Speaking of diving, no tourist photoset is complete without a waterline shot. Near Wembley Stadium is the ever-popular River Thames. Luckily, London’s cloudy days make a great backdrop for the cityscape. Take a lovely symmetrical shot of the Tower Bridge looming over the river waters under low light to create a historical looking photo, or in the middle of the day to highlight the details of the bridge.

Once you’re tired of walking around London, feel free to take a rest on the green fields of the King Edward VII Park. The park can be relaxing but is also a great place for morning jogs and cycling. If you happen to be here during the springtime, don’t forget to take pictures while sitting under the gorgeous pink flowering trees scattered about.

The Budget hotels in north London you choose to reside in play an important factor on the kind of visits you’ll be able to make and the photos you’ll be able to take.
