Shopping in London is a great experience. Many department stores are quite accessible from most hotels in Cricklewood London.
You will find many of Central London’s flagship stores in the city’s posh and exclusive department stores. You can even book personal shoppers to provide you with special retail assistance.
The stores have a great assortment of modern restaurants, chic cafes, and interesting bars. A good number of department stores also have beauty salons and spas that offer pampering and relaxation.

Harrods
Harrods opened for business in 1849. It remains an iconic London landmark to this day.
Harrods maintains it reputation for selling only the finest merchandise. You can go shopping in all of the store’s 7 floors and more than 300 departments.

Selfridges
You can find Selfridges on Oxford Street. It opened in 1909. It went through an extensive renovation in the 1990s and is now a dazzling, ultra-modern store. It is where the moneyed, the rich, and the famous go for designer goods.

John Lewis
You can find John Lewis on Oxford Street. It opened in 1864 as a haberdashery.
The store has since renovated and expanded to sell a wide collection of products ranging from luggage to perfumes and from toys to appliances. It has also added a first-rate food hall in the basement.

M&S (Marks and Spencer)
This is probably one of the country’s most popular and best-loved department stores.  Although renowned for its splendid line of undergarments, the store also has a fine clothing collection.
Marks and Spencer is recognized for its fine quality and affordable prices. Many tourists from overseas are known to drop by Marks and Spencer to get enough clothes to last for an entire year.

Fortnum & Mason
You can find this iconic store at 181 Piccadilly where it has done business for more than 300 years. The store is distinguished for its luxury food items and fresh produce. It is also famous for being quite the favourite with the British royal family. It has now expanded its products to include cosmetics, house ware, luggage, and clothes.
Fortnum is the quintessential English shop. It is not surprising that tourists make it a point to visit it whenever they are in London.

Harvey Nichols
Opened for business in the 1880s, Harvey Nichols maintains its flagship store in its original location between Sloane Street and Knightsbridge.
Affectionately referred to as 'Harvey Nik's' the store competes with Harrods as a hip must-visit store. Some of its most stalwart shoppers claim that it has a wider and better collection of designer clothes than Selfridges.

The city is famous not only for its luxurious wedding venues in North London. It is also quite renowned for its posh department stores.
